I had so much fun taking the Newbern Family’s portraits a couple weeks ago at Glencairn Gardens in Rock Hill. I have known Megan and Chris since we were all kids at my dad’s church. I was so excited when they got engaged but very disappointed when their wedding date this past March conflicted with another event I was already committed to. So, instead of shooting their wedding, I was able to take family pictures for them. Their girls are so cute and so much fun. They had me laughing the entire session. Congratulations Megan and Chris! I am so happy for you and cannot wait to see what God has planned for your precious family.
A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to go to Virginia to spend the weekend with my college roommate and her family. We were excited about the trip because we love spending time with them but also because we were going to be meeting their new baby girl. Anna was 5 weeks old when we met her and she is such a sweet baby girl. I made sure to take some pictures of sweet Anna and got a few with her mom, Rebekah. It is amazing how much Anna looks like her big brother, Isaac. I still can’t believe it was 2 years ago when we went up there to meet Isaac. Thanks for letting us come visit and meet Anna. We cannot wait to watch her grow up and see the young lady she is going to become.
Thanks for bearing with us during our website overhaul. The changes are complete and we are excited about the new direction of the business.
Every page of our site has been changed to reflect our new business focus of portraits. Some of the changes include a new home page slideshow and new portfolio pages. Other changes include new portraits pricing. One of the things we are most excited about is our new baby milestone packages. These packages will allow us to capture those big moments in a new baby’s first year of life. This will also allow us to really get to know the family and hopefully form a long lasting business relationship. We will also occasionally run seasonal mini portrait session specials which we will post here and on facebook.
Word of mouth is our best form of advertising these days, so please pass our info along to anyone you know who might need portraits. Thanks for all your support during this change in our business.

I had so much fun hanging out with these two cuties. Ansley and Hudson were both celebrating their birthdays and Easter so we headed to the Rock Quarry Gardens for some portraits. We were blessed with a beautiful evening and perfect weather for their pictures. The flowers were still blooming and provided a beautiful backdrop. I had a great time capturing their cute personalities in the pictures. Happy 4th Birthday, Ansley and Happy 1st Birthday, Hudson! Thanks for letting me be a part of your celebrations!
We are currently in the process of updating our website, so please bear with us as changes are slowly being made to different parts of the website. The changes involve rebranding the company to focus only on portraits. After much debate, we have decided to stop taking weddings so that we can spend more time with our little girl. We loved working with all the different couples over the years and we appreciate your support as we transition our business.

Back in October, we participated in an online auction to raise money for Prader-Willi Syndrome research. We also shot their 5K and walk to help support the foundation and our sweet little friend, Ellie. I was excited when our good friends won the family portrait session in the online auction. It was fun hanging out and working with them at Greer City Park. It took the kids a little bit to warm up to the pictures but it wasn’t long before they were smiling and having a great time. Thanks Crum family for your support of PWS research!

I am excited to be able to introduce you to Henry. He was born just before the New Year and is such a precious little boy. I got to meet Henry when he was just a week and a half old. I love that part of my job, getting to spend time with the tiny babies!
Henry is Martin’s little brother. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Martin for his 1 year and 2 year portraits. It is so fun to watch Martin grow up and now to see his family growing with a new baby brother. Henry did great during his portraits. He was such a trooper during the different poses and never really fussed. Martin was such a sweet big brother, the boys were so cute together! Congratulations Nick and Blakely! Thanks for letting me capture sweet moments of your growing family!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! We have one final Christmas mini session to share with you. I met the Geismar family in the West End of Greenville for the portraits. I really enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them a little during their session. It was so much fun taking pictures with a tiny baby and a dog. Thank you Geismar family for letting me capture your first Christmas as a family of 4!

I had a great time working with the Fricks family for their Christmas pictures. They were such troopers during the portrait session because the weather suddenly changed right before their pictures started and the wind picked up and the temperature drastically dropped. We all were shocked at how cold it was and how fast the weather changed. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised at all about the weather, considering we had snow that morning which was a huge shock in SC in November! The kids did such a great job during the pictures. We kept stopping to let them warm back up and then would take coats back off and shoot some more pictures. Thanks Fricks family for fighting the cold weather and letting me capture your Christmas memories this year!

I enjoyed meeting the Hall family a couple weeks ago and taking their Christmas portraits. We headed to the West End of Greenville to take their family portraits. Their kids were so cute and a lot of fun. I loved talking to their daughter about Elmo and Princess Sofia! Thanks Hall family for letting me capture your Christmas memories!
