I was so excited when Martin’s mom asked me to take his 2 year portraits. I had the pleasure of taking his 1 year portraits last year and I could not wait to see how much he had grown over the past year. Martin is such a cutie and I enjoyed taking his pictures again. He had so much fun showing me how he fast he can run and how he can ride the rocking horses at his grandparents’ farm. It was such a fun photo shoot with a precious little boy. Happy 2nd Birthday, Martin!

Tori and Jesse were married just before Christmas and we were honored to be able to capture their big day. They got married at Simpsonville Church of God, where Tori’s dad is the pastor, and their reception was at the Church of God Home for Children. The ceremony was performed by Tori’s dad and Jesse’s step dad, which was so special. Their wedding was so elegant with the black dresses and the red and wrought iron accents. We had a great time working with Tori and Jesse and getting to know them better. Congratulations Tori and Jesse! Thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding. I am excited to be able to share these newborn portraits with everyone! Meet our newest niece, Grace. She was born on November 8th but I could not post her newborn portraits until after Christmas because we knew the pictures were being used as Christmas gifts. We were so excited to be able to meet Grace when she was just 2 weeks old. We are so excited for Tiffany and Josh and cannot wait to watch this precious little girl grow up. Welcome to the family Grace, we love you!

Tori and Jesse were married this weekend and I am excited to be able to share her bridal portraits. We took her bridals at Converse College, where Tori attended college. Tori had a friend bring his old Cadillac for some of the portraits, which was a lot of fun. A few weekends ago two of our good friends got married. Erin and I met our sophomore year at Clemson and I was so honored when she asked us to shoot their wedding. We love shooting all weddings but it is so much more fun and special to shoot weddings for our friends. We love being able to be a part of their big day and to capture all the exciting moments of the day. Erin and Adam were married at Mitchell Road PCA and their reception was at Tri County College’s Easley Campus. It was such a beautiful wedding. We could not be happier for Erin and Adam and are excited to see their relationship grow as they start this new chapter in their lives as husband and wife. Congratulations Erin and Adam! I had so much fun shooting Justin’s surprise birthday party! I have known Justin my whole life, he and my brother are good friends, so I was excited when his wife Erin asked me to shoot his surprise 40th birthday party. The theme for the party was the 80′s, which was so much fun. Everyone came dressed in their best 80′s fashion…from Risky Business Tom Cruise to Molly Ringwald to good old 80′s neon. Justin was surprised when he walked in and saw all his friends there to celebrate his 40th. It was a great party and we wish Justin a very happy birthday!

I love taking newborn portraits but it is even more fun for me when the newborn is my friends’ new baby. Miss Ellie is our friends Craig and Ashley’s new baby girl and she is so precious. I was so honored to take Ashley’s maternity portraits a couple months ago and it was exciting to take Ellie’s newborn portraits when she was just 2 weeks old. Ellie was such a trooper, she did not fuss at all during the portraits. I think she really liked the newborn lounger pillow that I brought with me, she slept so sound with me flashing the camera at her. Although, I think she is trying to tell me that she is done with pictures in the last one below. Congratulations Craig and Ashley! We cannot wait to watch Ellie grow up and hopefully one day she will continue the legacy and attend Clemson.

Sheena and Joel got married a couple weeks ago at Occasions at Wedgefield in Central, SC. It was such a beautiful outdoor ceremony and the reception at the Pavillion was so much fun. We really enjoyed working with Sheena and Joel and getting to know them. Both Sheena and Joel serve our country in the Army Reserves and we were so honored to capture their wedding day. Tomorrow  is the big day for Sheena and Joel and we are excited to be able to capture the special moments of their wedding. We took their engagement portraits a few weeks ago at an old mill in Central, SC. The mill was awesome! In all of our years in Clemson, we had no idea that this mill was in Central. It had so many amazing textures that created great backdrops to their pictures. We definitely hope to take pictures here again. Congratulations Sheena and Joel!
